Kicks win emotional ‘semi-final’ derby

Two giants [Kick’n Boboza & Car Boutique] collided on Friday 24th in a game that left the crowd flabbergasted. A star-studded Boutiques opened the scoring through a penalty after Ponkic enjoying his countless touches played the ball inside restricted area. Boutiques got its second from a long range short that caught napping Mcdinovic in an off-guard moment.

Boutiques were in a comfortable 2-0 lead when Little Melf introduced Dumino. Dumino [Kicks’ hero of the night] combined well with master Denverio and scored three quick goals to restore his team’s hope. Boutiques showed the crowed why they are being referred to as the Kings of the MidCity soccer by scoring two more exhilarating goals.

4-3 to Boutiques was on the score board for a longer period of time. Just when the crowd thought there would be no more goals coming from Kicks’ side. Kicks got one goal back and made it 4-4. Mcdinovic scored an unexpected thrilling goal to put Kicks back on the lead 5-4.

The crowd’s favorites Boutiques equalized with a superb goal that triggered the crowd to sing songs of happiness. The score was 5-5, the crowd was singing Boutiques anthem, and 25 seconds was remaining on the clock when Mcdinovic scored a heart stopping goal that silenced the crowed and ensured Kicks a 6-5 victory over the Giants. Another happy smile on the coach, players, and Kicks fans…

While Kicks were busy celebrating, they were told the game was not a semifinal but actually the last game of the league. The finals are to be played next Friday 31st of Oct.
