Kicks win 2 in one night

Kicks beat Summit 14-2 then bitter rivals Siyabangena 6-4 on August 20. Tonight the Blues come against young but fast teenagers of the Ink. The last time the two sides met, the Blues got a hiding. Will Kicks get the upper hand this time around?

Kicks Summit share spoils

Captain Ponkic grabbed a last second equalizer for the Blues who were trailing 11-10 to Summit in a breathtaking friendly game. The game also marked return of the Kicks’ very own bad-boy but yet talented midfielder Reubinho.

Kicks go down to Siyabangena, again

Once again Kicks took the early lead through the legs of captain Ponkic who was responding to a cross from Ashlic. But that was the furthest Kicks could reach as the Siya scored 4 goals with no response from the Blues.

Hyenas get a kick in the butt [30/07/2010]
The tricky Hyenas FC went into this game with all the tricks that it had little they knew they were under a watchful eye of the Blues in all of its games. The Blues were looking for nothing but a win to send out a message to all those who wrote them off. It was man of the match Ashlic who conveyed the message in the first few minutes of the game when set up captain fantastic Ponkic with a killer cross and the captain produced a powerful strike that nearly killed the Hyena goalkeeper before touching the net. Ashlic’s superb performance in the middle of the park combined with little Melf’s defense at the back and a determined Tomasino in the goalpost left the tail-less Hyenas in a 15-7 dismay…

Kicks finally register a win [23/07/2010]
Immediately after losing to the young stars of Ink-fested, the Blues took out all their frustrations on the All Stars. Tomasino opened the scoring with a thunderous strike, followed by McDinovic’s extra special goal when he made the goalkeeper to lie flat on the ground before putting the ball above his motionless body. All Stars fought hard to get back to the game but in was not enough catch the 12-9 score all thanks to super stops from captain Ponkic…

Ink spoil the Blue shirts [23/07/2010]
The Blues who ejoyed the first half 3-0 lead got a shock of their lives when the teenagers of Ink-fested came flying in the second half to register a 8-5 win. “The secret is in the stamina” said Ink’s coach after the game…
