Last kick of the game from Adam slashed Uitenhage’s hearts but sent the Blues to top of the group. Uteinhage who enjoyed the lead for the entire game could not believe the 7-6 score on the board at the end of the game. It was all thanks to team efforts from Captain Ponkic, McDinovic, Ashlic, Adam and Leonardinho.

Kicks narrowly register first win
Kicks playing without a comrade marathon running captain registered their first win of the season when they beat Summit 9-8. Goals came from Adam, McDinovic, Ashlic, Leonardinho, Fisher and the newly signed player. It was a very tough encounter that kept the crowd on their feet for the entire duration of the game when both sides threw each other with goals. Summit gave all they had in their hunt for the equalizer which forced Kicks to play time tricks and Ashlic ended up with a red card for time delay.
Moment of Brilliance: Our moment of brilliance goes outside the pitch to Peter Maritzburg – Durban line at our very own Captain Ponkic who ran the 90km Comrade Marathon for the 3rd consecutive time.
Man of the match: McDinovic for his role in the poles and in the striking department
