The Blues lost 10-6 to bitter rivals Siyabangena in a breath taking encounter. Kicks opened the net through a brace from Jay who normarly plays in goalkeeping post. Siya became more aggressive and physical than usual and that resulted in Kicks losing structure. McDinovic who was on top of his form scored 4 goals for the Blues but that unfortunately was not good enough to prevent the free scoring Siyabangena from winning the game.

Oops!!! Is that a Kick?
Super Ooops got a taste of the Blue kick last Friday at The Gabba. The Blues had enough of Super Ooops hiding and had to put an end to an old song with a smashing kick. All Kicks men [Captain Ponkic, McDinovic, Ashlic, Leonardinho, Adam (debutant), Petr Cech (goalkeeper)] stepped into the field like soldiers ready to die for their country. All spectators saw was a series of unbelievable skills and extraordinary goals displayed by the men in blue. Adam mesmerized Oops defenders and found the back of the net. Ashlic scored a superb goal with the back of the heel that took fans off their seats to give him a long round of applause. Ponkic put a lot of stoppage to Oops attacks just when they thought they beat the tough captain they could not beat the ever shining goalkeeper. It was mission impossible for Oops when they got a break from Adam + Ashlic combination, they got another attacks from McDinovic + Leonardinho combination. 9-3 is where the kick ended for Oops…
