After winning its 1st game 11-7 against strong Shooters’ squad, Kicks now face an even tougher challenge of playing 2 games in 1 night. A team that looks to have found its footing again will be fighting for survival against the number 2 spot occupants Siyaba Enterisha at 19:30 followed by a game against 3rd spot residents Zana Park at 20:50 this coming Friday 27/03/2009.
Glory days back to Kicks?
The sensational Kicks squad gave new caps to Lucasino and Thabino. Both gave an incredible performance that allowed Ru to score a brilliant goal, Ponkic’s 2 super strikes, MacDinovic a whooping 4 and Lenardinho’s 4 strikes. And this sent Shooters to a dismaying 11-7 defeat. Are the Glory days back for Kicks?

Kick n Boboza ship still sinking
Kick n Boboza ship is still sinking and this time it is going down at a shocking speed. The former champions’ ship ridden by Denverio,Leonardinho, Londino, McDinovic, Ponkic and Ru last Friday collided with Zana Park in a 10 goals thriller. Zana won the game 6-4 with Kicks goals coming from Leonardinho [2] and McDinovic [2].
Kicks were scheduled to play the on form Vodacom FC this coming Friday but due to unforeseen circumstances, the game has been moved to next week. These are good and bad news for captain Ponkic’s side. The good news is that the captain is relieved from the stress of finding replacement for his two prolific goal scorers Leonardinho and McDinovic who are out on international duties. The bad news is that Kicks who are yet to taste victory after three outings, will have to play two games in one night next week.

Kick n Boboza: The sinking ship
Kicks are yet to win a game this season. After losing 4-3 in the opening game against Siyaba Enterisha, Kicks went on a redemption mission against BMW Financials which unfortunately failed before the kick-off. Only 3 regular players [Denverio, Leonardinho & Ponkic] plus the new signing Londino showed up. Kicks were forced to play 2 spectators. Londino did not disappoint on his debut, his spectacular passes and entertaining combination with Denverio produced 7 goals for Kicks (Ponkic[1], Humbe[2], Leonardinho[4]) in attempt to keep up with BMW’s 9 goals. 9-7 was the final score.
Kicks have another chance to redeem themselves this coming Friday 06-03-2009 at 19:30 against Zana Park
Good news: Mcdinovic poised to lead the attack
